On the night of July 11 at the age of 94, Professor Osvaldo Manuel Tiscornia passed away, leaving us his legacy of ideas as a tireless thinker, his passion for knowledge, his professional teachings, and his life advice. We will remember him fondly, as one of the Great Master of Medicine, Professor of the Department of Anatomy, excellent Gastroenterologist, and excellent scientist. Dr. Tiscornia created and directed until his last day the Pancreatic Studies Program at the Clinics Hospital of the University of Buenos Aires. There, his disciples learned a lot from his innumerable scientific contributions and discoveries on the pathophysiology of pancreatic diseases. Osvaldo Tiscornia was above all things a very human doctor, loved and admired by his disciples and colleagues. We will miss him.
