Pancreatitis crónica: Una revisión de sus aspectos más relevantes

La pancreatitis crónica es una entidad dinámica y progresiva. Las interacciones entre los distintos factores de riesgo definen las manifestaciones clínicas y el perfil de complicaciones de cada paciente individual. La evaluación y el manejo del dolor y de las insuficiencias funcionales son los pilares del plan de cuidados de los pacientes con esta condición. La educación para la corrección de los factores de riesgo modificables es fundamental para impactar positivamente en la progresión de la enfermedad.
