Uso exitoso de stent biliar en laceración profunda esofágica por cuerpo extraño en un niño de 1 año

La perforación esofágica es una de las lesiones de gran importancia del sistema digestivo, con complicaciones serias y alta mortalidad, por lo que requiere un diagnóstico precoz y un manejo oportuno. Las causas pueden ser iatrogénicas, traumáticas, por cáusticos o secundarias a cuerpo extraño. Se presenta un caso de laceración profunda esofágica causada por un cuerpo extraño en un lactante mayor, que fue manejado con stent biliar totalmente recubierto, con éxito clínico y técnico.
