A 67-year-old male patient, cholecystectomized, was admitted to the emergency room due to jaundice, choluria and abdominal pain of one month of evolution, with no other symptoms. The admission laboratory showed: total bilirubin 12.30 mg/dl; direct bilirubin 9.40 mg/dl; GOT 33 U/L; GPT 93 U/L; FAL 68 U/L. A magnetic cholangioresonance was performed. Based on the findings of this study, diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) was indicated.
