Abstract

Heterotopic pancreas corresponds to pancreatic tissue outside its usual location; among the most frequent locations are the duodenum, stomach, and proximal jejunum. In most cases, it is an incidental imaging finding whose definitive diagnosis is obtained from the histopathological study since its characteristics are not pathognomonic. A series of four cases describes jejunal nodules' characteristics identified on images as an incidental finding, with postoperative confirmation of ectopic pancreas.
