We present a 63-year-old male patient who consulted for vomiting of 48 hours of evolution, with 10 episodes per day, predominantly postprandial, accompanied by abdominal distension and pain. As relevant pathological history, he had been hospitalized 15 days before due to an acute abdomen secondary to a moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma of the colon, for which he underwent a left hemicolectomy. In that context he had presented a weight loss of 8 kilos.
